You are all invited to a seminar by Chris Howard (Mechanical Engineering, University of Newcastle, Australia) titled "Group theory (computer-assisted) has its uses" on Thursday the 7th of June at 2:30 pm in room T001 of the Department of Materials Science. Chris will be speaking about applications of the group theory software ISOTROPY and ISODISTORT to perovskites and other oxide materials, an area in which he is one of the key pioneers.
